Powell Dance and Performance Arts is an exciting, fun, and creative dance program that strives to give students the rewarding opportunity to engage in the creative process of dance-making and performance.
Powell Dance & Performance Arts is a safe space to explore, create, be inspired, move, and build confidence.
Focus is anchored towards acquiring greater body coordination through technique development, creating and memorizing sequences of movement that evolve into a dance, and learning the key elements of dance.
It’s no wonder studies show learning and engaging in dance sharpens cognitive skills, reduces stress, improves learning, and is a great way to stay fit and healthy!

Inspire:
Powell Dance & Performance Arts specializes in teaching multiple genres of dance and different movement explorations to youth ages 2 to 17. PDAPA also offers fun and engaging movement classes for adults, as well as opportunities to perform within our dance company division.
Powell Dance & Performance Arts focuses not only on the fundamentals of dance and technique, but also creative and fun approaches to movement that help to support the growth of each dancer.
PDAPA values practice as a positive transformative tool for building discipline and understanding commitment to self. We value the art of performance as an educational experience to build confidence, kindness, share and connect with peers, and the community.
